What a silly blogger…

Nothing to do with blogger or blogging but it is definitely difficult working at the moment.

The moment you go into the kitchen you become aware that there is a stew/casserole in the slow cooker/pressure cooker.

And the aroma is driving me mental! Roll on dinnertime.

I am presently sat here after:

  • early morning networking
  • followed by assisting at a business expo
  • then collecting paperwork from a client who is currently experiencing serious health issues
  • to then slip home quickly after six hours after setting out
  • before collecting the prodigal daughter from a railway station nearby.

and I wonder why I cannot stop yawning…

Has anyone out there managed to work out how to type and yawn at the same time?

Can’t be done I’m guessing but you never know.

And the eyelids sit heavy.

Do you know the feeling? You go to blink and the !*!* things won’t open again afterwards?

I’m also going to dislocate my jaw one of these days – I’ve given myself serious cramp (in my jaw) on frequent occasions so it’s only a matter of time I shouldn’t wonder.

I almost wrote a post about Spoonerisms – unsure whether non-UK readers will understand the term.

For the uninitiated we’re talking about a method of mangling words that can lead to some quite amusing outcomes.

One of the often quoted ones is when the Rev. Spooner (yes a priest) was referring to Queen Victoria as our dear old Queen he actually called her our queer old dean.

It’s something my brain does for fun if I don’t keep it sufficiently occupied enough. Blogger me.

I’ve often considered it surprising that it’s not grounds for divorce – I do wind Lorraine up with them on a regular basis. Musing face emoji…

I may drop the odd one into the blog every once in a while perchance?

Oh what a silly blogger

Raised eyes emoji.

It’s osteopath week so I’ll slip out for a while and let Hannah try and undo this month’s damage.

The CBD oil (not, as Lorraine calls it CDB oil – coincidentally or maybe because my initials) is still doing its tricks.

Having just gone to set up a link it appears I may not have mentioned this before.

About a couple of months ago Die Tochter and I went to Amsterdam and Brussels.

Now life coach Becki has, for some substantial time, been suggesting to me that my aches and pains might be in some part treatable by CBD oil.

For those of you not in the know CBD stands for Cannabidiol – one of the ingredients of (i) Cannabis and (ii) the hemp plant.

But not the “wacky baccy” part of it which is THC – tetrahydrocannabinol.

There are also myriad other lesser known compounds but these two are the “important” ones.

The difference? THC is psychoactive while CBD is not.

So while in the Netherlands I was prevailed upon to enter a Vape shop and ended up buying a small phial of the oil.

I am the world’s biggest cynic (or certainly in the top ten) and assumed the £60-70 I was being parted from was going to be a complete waste of money.

HOWEVER

when I got round to trying it the effects were not only noticeable but seriously positive.

My aches and pains have got substantially worse over the last few years – age or wear and tear? Dunno.

But since using the oil it’s almost as it the pain has been dialed back from 13 or 14 to a cope-able 4 – and with no obvious tolerance issues so far.

Established the dose after a few days and have stuck to it ever since.

It’s not a panacea for the ills of the world but it’ll do for now.

What a happy blogger…

Oh dear.
