Bugger – forgot
Default diary. Unless you have the discipline to move “fixed” items if something gets in the way… It was truly necessary to move the blog. An executorship which, for reasons I cannot mention, has lasted over three years is FINALLY reaching a conclusion. So shifting stuff to get that meeting was sufficiently high priority to accommodate.
Yesterday morning was long distance networking – far side of Salisbury, best part of an hour there and longer back with an 06.00 start and an 05.00-ish get up. Needless to say I wasn’t feeling exceptionally with it on my return and what with a relatively short turnaround time before setting out to the executorship meeting, I wasn’t really in the mood for much other than stare vacantly at a computer screen or stare vacantly out of the window. So lots of practice in staring vacantly but not much useful done. Just the way it goes…
So by the time you’ve vegetated on your return it’s time for dinner and once you’ve caught up with the emails and the social media that’s the day gone walkabout. Follow that with more networking this morning about 45-55 minutes eastbound and it’s Friday, nearly lunchtime and the blog’s untouched. In fact completely out of the mind because the default brain cell is working with the default diary and that time is done and past.
Thunderstorms on the way.
At least according to the news earlier. Love the (unseasonably) warm weather. Just don’t like trying to work in it so severe thunderstorms is almost something to look forward to! Just don’t let it get in the way of the lunar eclipse… Would really like to see the “Blood Moon”. We shall see or not. Going to have to break it here for a while. Round to the local cash and carry to stock up with some beer – something for the weekend sir? – and then a quick walk to try and get the back joints more mobile. Back later.
That’s better.
Beer stocked up. Walk done. Immensely muggy. Walked back in and I’m already drenched in sweat. Too much information? Sorry… But my feet are cold. How does that happen? Been wearing the sandals. Daily for several weeks now. The ONLY difference compared with an hour ago is bare feet on carpet rather than sandals (or furry socks) on carpet. If anyone can tell me why I’d love to know…
Just while I remember – or not forget
Met with the lovely Beverley Poole earlier this week. An expert in personal development, career coaching, relocation, outplacement through redundancy, and soft skills training based around health and personal development and an interesting back story. I have great expectations of what future collaborations might bring. That’s enough for this time…

Slightly different sort of coach…
Thunderstorm! Right on cue!
