What's wrong with a "lifestyle business"?

  • Do the ones who work the longest hours earn the most money?
  • Are the most industrious the most successful?
  • Or, if they are, have they still got a marriage and/or personal life?
  • I can think of many in business who are in a very comfortable place who aren’t the most obvious people one would expect to be successful. You know – the “lucky” ones… I even know several people who teach how to create incomes that are independent of the owner being present day-to-day, or employ other people to teach it! How much money is enough? Would you be happy with twice the amount you currently earn? Three times? Four? Or do you have enough for what you need? What would you choose? Twice the money or more free time? Which would be best for you? Both if you play your cards right… Advances in electronics mean that, if your industry/profession is in the right sector, you can work from anywhere. I find that cloud-based accounting and marketing “solutions” (don’t you just hate that word) are so liberating in terms of when and how I can deliver my clients their information. So, is lifestyle a dirty word? Only if you can’t do yourself… landscape-540116_1920]]>
