I have an early osteopathy appointment today so I’d better be careful to make sure I go out early.

That’s the trouble when you usually make appointments at a particular time but said slot is not available when you book. I have to say Hannah will have her work cut out today. I have the “aftermath of a road traffic accident” feel in my back and neck – just wondering, you know like the Inuit have 50 words for snow, is that feeling one word in some language? Just curious (we know I hear you cry but we read this stuff just the same), that’s all. Read (don’t you love the English language? From that one word you have no idea whether to pronounce it “reed” or “red” and by putting this phrase here in parentheses you’l probably have forgotten by the time I get there!) somewhere this week that using an exclamation mark in correspondence is like laughing at your own jokes. And? Snigger… Which is not in the sodding spellchecker. Ostepoath or even osteopath time. Can’t believe I just typed that.  

Ahhhhhhhh, that’s better.

Or it would be if I could continue typing without some very sore sensations. Got to one of my favourite networking groups for the first time in ages this morning (October last if the Swarm app is to be believed). Business Builders – there we are, shameless plug if you’re in this area. Lots of people I haven’t seen for a while and a lovely greeting from lots of them. And some of them are people that I really rate in their businesses. Got asked for my opinion by one member who could be considered a rival (nearly but not quite) and it was a pleasure to help.

Collaboration beats competition 99.9% of the time.

Oddly the same sentiment was expressed in the networking meeting I went to Tuesday as well. The speaker there is a magician and it was fascinating watching how the !*!* he does some of the tricks. You KNOW it’s a trick but I’m still absolutely baffled as to how they’re done. I think that will do for this week. Must be nearly nap time.
