New year, new you?

SOMETHING. If you don’t know where you are hoping to go, how do you know when you’ve got there? And, since most goals will be composed of a number of sub-goals, you may not even be moving in a vaguely positive direction! So the way this is going is that maybe I need to write the outline goals down here, in this blog, smack in the headlights so you can see what I intend to do and whether I managed to do it. Scary. I’ve come a long way in 2016 so far. Forget Brexit and Trump, if you told me I’d end 2016 with (in no particular order):

  • PR person
  • Copywriter
  • New (second) website for outsourced finance director side
  • Social media outsource, in particular Instagram
  • Someone doing MY bookkeeping
  • A ten-fold increase in twitter followers
I would have assumed you were barking mad. But that is what I have with virtual PA hopefully on board early in 2017, maybe as early as January! I suppose, if nothing else, it proves I’m starting to believe in myself. Something I might not have done (but certainly not been confident enough to expose) just a year ago. So next week’s task – or the week after – is to start defining my 2017 goals in writing rather than let them wander around in the fluffy space between my ears. Wish me luck… forest-1699079_1920]]>
