Finance Director on Demand
I work with companies not yet big enough to have their own financial director assisting with management information, taxation, strategic planning and wealth management. My goal is to give business owners peace of mind and greater financial security by being readily available to assist with making timely decisions based on their actual cash flow and business projections. I also talk in a language people can understand.
If you’d like to discuss your current position and financial management, I am happy to spend the time with you to see if and how I can help. To request a call, please go to the contact us page and I will be in touch.
I have a variety of financial packages available that provide flexibility so that even those without steady cash flow can benefit. I tend to work with clients who have a turnover between £500k - £10m with 5 to 50 staff, but also for smaller businesses who have a vision I’d like to support. Growing a business can be very lonely, especially if you rely solely on yourself for all the answers. When the business is new and the funds are tight it can seem like an expensive luxury to hire a financial director to manage and oversee financial decisions, though most people recognise the positive impact that having one would have on their business.
I believe that every business should have access to the knowledge and resources it needs to succeed.
We all know cash flow is the lifeblood of any business, and that small mistakes and/or a lack of knowledge could lead to eventual collapse and a dream unfulfilled. I think it’s something that plays on every business owners mind, distracting their focus and draining them unnecessarily of energy.
Many business owners never set out to run a business. You have been successful in doing and suddenly discover you’re running a business – someone else is now doing the doing and you need to improve your skill set to become a manager, a business person and an entrepreneur.
I can help you transition from worker to employer with all the rights and obligations that brings.

Planning is integral to every successful business, but all too often, the pressure of the day to day means that strategy and planning isn’t given the time it needs. This leads to rushed decisions and missed opportunities.
I have a wealth of experience in advising the local business community and as a member of the ICAEW Business Advice Scheme, I would love to sit down with you, maybe far from your business premises, and help you visualise your strategy.
We have the time to take the longer view and we can help you to make more informed decisions and structured plans, helping you to succeed.
